A New Name. The Same Promise.

After more than 80 years as the Royal Canadian Naval Benevolent Fund (RCNBF), we’re proud to share the next chapter in our journey. We are now the Navalis Foundation.

This rebrand reflects more than a new name — it represents a renewed commitment to Canada’s naval family. 

The world has changed since our founding in 1942. The challenges faced by sailors, veterans, and their families have grown more complex, more urgent, and more diverse. We’ve evolved in response — expanding our programs, deepening our partnerships, and finding new ways to deliver support where it’s needed most.

At our core, we remain grounded in the same values of compassion, responsiveness, and trust that have defined our work for generations. The Navalis name signals a modern foundation built to meet today’s needs, while carrying forward the heart of what RCNBF has always stood for.

Over the next several months, you’ll continue to see our visual identity shift — with a new website, new communications, and more opportunities to engage. But this is not a departure from who we are. It’s a renewal of our promise: to be there for those who serve(d) and their families — still, always.
